Vintage Trailer Museum

Flashback to the 1950’s and 60’s

A 1967 Boles Aero trailer owned by a former IBM electrical engineer, Edward Finnegan, started a fledgling museum, nestled in the Paso Robles wine country, Trailerland. Adjacent farmland provides a back drop for a future museum that connects the California Central Coast history via interactive exhibits. 1950’s famous actor James Dean (black & white photo) died in a horrendous car crash in San Luis Obispo County, seen seated outside his Airfloat trailer during the filming of Giant. Trailerland has a 1954 Airfloat Landyacht in its collection.  See the video of its acquisition under Our Story .
